All orders are shipped via Fed Ex Ground, Fed Ex National, or a Home Delivery service and are fully insured against damages. Orders may also be picked up in Florence, SC or Thomasville, NC. Delivery to your home is usually 14-60 days from the date of order depending on the availability of the items ordered and what state delivery is to. All deliveries except Fed Ex Ground will be scheduled prior to the delivery being attempted. Please let the delivery service know if there are any restrictions to your delivery such as building hours, long driveways, limited commercial traffic, etc. These should be brought to the attention of the delivery service at the time of scheduling and could result in additional delivery charges.

You may specify the type of delivery you want in the “Comments” area of the shopping cart as you begin your checkout. If no delivery is specified then one will be chosen for you based on the type of furniture ordered and the delivery location.
Deliveries by Fed Ex Ground are typically smaller and lighter packages such as Ottomans, End Tables, Accent Pieces, Lamps, etc. If your order is being sent through Fed Ex Ground a tracking number will be emailed to you once the shipping label has been printed. Your delivery will usually arrive 2-5 business after you receive this email. Please inspect your order for damages as soon as possible. Any damaged item should be refused at time of delivery. If your order arrives when you are not home there is a 24 hr grace period to identify an report damages. When reporting a damaged item in this time period, email a picture of the damaged area along with the serial number of the item. This serial number is located on the identification tag applied to the furniture.
Deliveries by Fed Ex National are orders too large for Fed Ex Ground and need to be delivered faster than a Home Delivery service can provide. If your order is sent through Fed Ex National a tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as the order is picked up. Your delivery will usually arrive 2-5 business days after you receive this email. Fed Ex National deliveries are curbside service only. You will be responsible for moving your furniture inside. To use Fed Ex National you must be willing to accept delivery Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm local time. After hours deliveries result in an upcharge of $200. Please inspect your order for damages as soon as possible. Any damaged item should be refused at time of delivery. If your order arrives when you are not home there is a 24 hr grace period to identify an report damages. Deliveries by a Home Delivery Service are orders that need to be carried into your for you. This type of delivery is slower due to the extra service and time involved with each delivery. Once your order has been turned over to a Home Delivery service you will receive an email status update of “Assigned to a Delivery Service” giving you the name and phone number of the delivery service that will coordinate your delivery. Your delivery will usually arrive 2-6 weeks after you receive this email. The delivery company will call to schedule your delivery prior to arriving at your home. In many cases this first scheduling call will give you a 1-2 day window which will be narrowed down to a 1-3 hour window as the delivery date draws nearer. All in home deliveries are to the second floor only. Any delivery beyond the second floor will require a custom delivery quote. Due to your delivery being coordinated with 50-80 other deliveries per trip there is not much room to negotiate dates and times. If you find that the date of delivery is not convenient for you, you may request that your order not be delivered on this truck and rescheduled on the next available truck. You will not be charged a storage fee for postponing delivery. Please inspect your furniture upon delivery and refuse any item that arrives damaged.
White Glove Delivery is the service provided by a Home Delivery Company that includes unpacking and setup of your furniture. This type of service is a $50 upcharge from the shipping charges calculated on FurnitureDealDirect.com and can be paid directly to the Delivery Service COD. If White Glove service is needed, it may be specified at time of order or at the time your are scheduled for delivery. It’s not recommended to wait until the day of delivery to request this service.
Customer pickups are allowed from facilities in Thomasville, NC or Florence, SC. If you desire to pickup your furniture from Thomasville there is a $50 handling fee. Pickups in Florence are at no charge. Orders that are to be picked up need to be placed over the phone to avoid delivery fees. Please contact a customer service rep via email or phone to place your order.
Please verify the furniture you have ordered will fit into the room. All doorways, stairways, or other obstacles should be measured to insure the furniture will fit before your purchase. The delivery company can not return items that do not fit into a specific room. FurnitureDealDirect cannot accept cancellations on orders which have already begun the procurement process. We may, at our discretion, make an exception in which a refund will be given minus a 25% restocking fee. If an order can be cancelled with the manufacturer, there will be no penalty and the down payment will be refunded. Furniture that arrives damaged or defective may be returned for repair or replacement. A manufacturer representative will inspect the furniture to verify it meets factory standards to be redelivered at no additional charge. Furniture that arrives too large to fit into a desired location cannot be returned but will be placed in another location of the home designated by the customer. |
